The works consisted of a fully tented design scaffold to ensure the building remained watertight during works. The team carefully created a hard standing to support the temporary structure as there was a burial ground on either side of the Meeting House. Removal of existing roofing covering was needed whilst also salvaging as much of the Westmorland slate for reuse. A breathable felt was installed and new lead gutters and parapet detail, before the existing slate was reinstalled. Repairs and rebuilding works to existing stone including line motor pointing and window repairs.
