Working in partnership with our supply chain we are able to offer a range of Solar PV systems to both flat and pitched roofs.
Recent installations have included
Palatine Beds — Newcastle
Working in partnership with Your Homes Newcastle we delivered a £1.5 million-pound contract to replace the asbestos cement roof covering with a new twin-skin sheeting system, dramatically upgrading the thermal efficiency of the building.
We also installed a 250 KWp Solar Photo-Voltaic array which will offset the energy output of the factory significantly reducing energy bills. View the Palatine Beds case study here.
St Ann’s – Newcastle
Hodgson Sayers replaced the aged flat roof covering upgrading the thermal insulation to current modern standards. In partnership with Bauder we also installed a 221 KWp Solar Photo-Voltaic array to the recently renewed roof covering. The installation was a part-ballasted system which complimented the roof covering and was designed to maximise the output to ensure the energy requirements of the buildings was offset.
Westmorland Road — Newcastle
Working in partnership with Bauder & Solon, we installed a 12 KWp Photo-Voltaic array. The system chosen was a non-ballasted arrangement which did not require any penetration of the roof substrate.
This was a unique and sophisticated installation method and enabled us to safeguard the integrity of the waterproofing and the roof substrate.
To ensure optimum energy generation the panels were designed to operate at a ten degree angle, we also ensured stability and security even during extreme weather conditions.
